Samsung still indulges in clamshell phones from time-to-time and the newest Samsung Veyron flip phone sounds like it could be a powerhouse.
We’ve seen some claimed pictures of it already and it looks to be a flashy clamshell handset aimed at Asian markets. With a rumoured dual screen display and metal build, it’s on a par with comparative flagships in terms of not just design… but also hardware.
The mysterious device known only as SM-W2017, has appeared on popular Chinese benchmarking application AnTuTu, boasting some monster specifications. The processor is listed as a Snapdragon 820, while the RAM is 4GB. The display is expected to be 4.2-inches in size with a 1080p resolution, meaning a huge pixel density of 537.29.
Samsung Veyron flip phone has the same camera as S7?
The camera in this model is also of interest, as it carries a 12 megapixel sensor. That’s the same megapixel count as the sensors found in the S7 and Note 7, which could mean it uses the same module. The front camera is expected to be 5 megapixels.
Other things worthy of mention include 64GB internal storage and a microSD slot, plus Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
