Samsung’s next iteration of its sleek smartwatch, the Gear S3, is expected to launch at trade show IFA in Berlin, as the Gear S2 saw its launch there last year.
The Gear S2 is an impressive wearable, arguable one of the best smartwatches at the moment. Current generation of smartwatches have really upped their game, offering an extension to smartphones to stop you from looking at your phone so much, and walking into a lamp post.
Samsung chose IFA as the place to unveil the Gear S2 last year, the trade show is coming up again, taking place on September 2nd – 7th. It seems very likely as the Note 7 is pretty much confirmed to launch next week, early August. It gives the Gear S3 all the limelight it wants to soak up in Berlin.
Rotating into the Gear S3
Rumours have been speculating how the Gear S3 will retain the much loved rotary bezel, enabling users to navigate the user interface easily and with haste. Hopefully we’ll see more innovation from Samsung, the Korean manufacturer opted to go for their own polished Tizen operating system, instead of using Android Wear. The Gear S2 is one of What Mobile’s favourite wearables, you can bet we’re very excited to see it.
