We hope you’re not sick of Galaxy Note 7 leaks yet, because another one has just landed. A new Gear VR may be accompanying the Note 7 at launch next week.

The new information was revealed by serial leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer, known also by his Twitter handle @OnLeaks. Hemmerstoffer has in the past provided accurate leaks, having provided renders of the Huawei P9 a month before launch.

Hemmerstoffer’s latest leak details a new Samsung Gear VR headset, it will apparently be 207 x 122 x 98.5mm, weighing in at 300g. Making it lighter than the current Gear VR, which weighs 318g. Field of view has also apparently seen an increase from 96 degrees to 110 degrees. A very welcomed upgrade if true.

Information on the Note 7 was also provided by Hemmerstoffer, with him confirming what was previously mentioned in the last leak. It will have a similar design to the S7 Edge; metal frame, glass back and IP68 water-resistance.

It was also mentioned in the last leak, the Note 7 will be thicker with the following dimensions:153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm. But it will also be lighter at 168g. The Note 5 measures up at 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and weighs 171g.

Other details include: a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, 4GB of RAM, Android 6.0, 12-megapixel rear camera (OIS), 5-megapixel front-facing, USB-C port, fingerprint and iris scanner, 64GB internal memory, and a microSD slot.

A 2.3GHz octa-core processor is also in tow, with that clock speed we imagine it’s the Exynos 8890, as seen on the S7 Edge. The North American version will most likely see a Snapdragon processor, whether it uses the latest Snapdragon 821 is another question to be answered. If so the North American version of Galaxy Note 7 will be slightly more powerful than it’s Exyno 8890 counterpart.

Hemmerstoffer also stated a price of 750 euros (about £715/$945), with availability not until September.
