Samsung is going through all the tablet sizes it seems, with the company already having 7-, 8- and 10-inch tablets in its lineup, but now it seems that it’s adding 12.2 inches to that roster, and it looks like it’s going to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2.
We first heard about the 12.2-inch tablet back in July, where evleaks released details, including that the tablet would be running on a Exynos 5 Octa Core processor, and have a resolution of 2560 x 1600.
Now however, according to a listing on the Bluetooth authentication website, Samsung is prepping a tablet dubbed SM-P901, which we suspect is the Galaxy Note 12.2 due to the previous rumour had the device set under the SM-P900 name.
Whilst it’s not know whether or not it will be part of the Note line, we have heard speculation surrounding the device’s inclusion of an S-Pen stylus, which would seem to support this device being called the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2.
Apple is also said to be working on larger tablets, although it’s not yet known when either Samsung’s Galaxy Note 12.2 or Apple larger iPads will be released.
