Panasonic may be exiting the smartphone business, but it seems to only be doing so in Japan, with the company launching three smartphones in India — the P11, T21, and T11.
All three phones come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and are aimed at the mid-to-low end of the market, with the T11 seemingly being the cheapest of the bunch at just Rs. 9,790.
The T11 features a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, and paired with a single GB of RAM. It also features a 4-inch 840 x 480 IPS display and a 5MP rear-facing camera. Users will get 4GB of internal storage, but it does have a micro SD card slot to expand that to 32GB.
The T21 is the next in line, priced at Rs. 13,990, and features a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 4.5-inch 720p LCD display and 1GB of RAM. You’ll also find 4GB of internal storage on-board, as well as a micro SD card slot also supporting up to 32GB.
By far the biggest of the bunch, and the most expensive, is the P11 — costing a cool Rs. 16,490. There’s a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 5-inch 720p display, 8MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and just like the other two — 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB.
