If you take your selfie game seriously the Oppo F1 will take you to the major leagues.
The Oppo F1 Plus has a 16 megapixel front-facing camera, putting to shame the 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. The behemoth selfie camera will also have a wide f/2.0 aperture lens, which allows in more light and provides wider angles. It takes some of the best selfies we’ve ever seen with tons of detail. In true Chinese manufacturer style, there is a beauty mode to rid yourself of all those blemishes.
The rest of the device is not as impressive. Android Lollipop 5.1 will run out of the box with Oppo’s Color 3.0 skin on top. There’s a 5.5-inch full HD display, giving 400 pixels per inch, a MediaTek MT6755 processor and 64GB internal memory with microSD support up to 128GB.
Oppo has already released the F1 Plus in the east, under the name Oppo R9. The Oppo R9 will be available in the UK for £299, sold only online. It’s already available in Australia for $599, no plans for a US release yet.
