The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is set for an IFA unveiling, and unlike the Samsung Galaxy S4, it looks like the UK will be receiving all variations of the device — so there’s no need to sacrifice that octa-core processor.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy Note 3 will launch in the UK with both a 3G and 4G variant, with those opting for the 3G version getting the octa-core chip, whereas those of us who like a little bit of 4G will have to settle for the quad-core processor.

The UK isn’t the only country to be getting the octa-core variant either, with 35 other countries also being featured on the list. If you’re in the US, then you’ll find that you’ll be without the octa-core version and will be forced to purchase the 4G-enabled quad-core variant.

We now also know which carriers are planning to stock the device, with O2, Vodafone and Thee reportedly picking up the quad-core version, whilst Carphone Warehouse has snapped up the octa-core version.

In the US AT&T looks like it’ll be stocking the Galaxy Note 3 exclusively, with no other carriers listed.

Those of you lucky enough to get the octa-core version will find Samsung’s own Exynos 5420 processor inside, whereas those with the quad-core variant will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

Of course cores don’t mean everything, so don’t get bogged down on it too much — but at least the consumer finally gets to choose.

What do you think? Do you want the octa-core version or would you to have the ability to connect to a 4G network? Let us know in the comments below.
