Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD get Vita release date

It’s been a long, long road to the release of Final Fantasy X and X-2 in high definition but we’re almost at the end. While the release date for the PS3 version has been locked at March 21st 2014 for some time, Square Enix has remained hush-hush on the Vita version’s date.

As it turns out the dates are one and the same – Final Fantasy X and X2 will launch on Sony’s mobile system on the very same day. If you’re picking the game up at retail then you’ll get FFX with a download code for the sequel stashed inside the box. It features cross-save, meaning you can share a save file between PS3 and Vita. Pretty handy for a JRPG.

It’s a matter of months away, then. Phew.
