Apple’s first Brazillian store expected to open next year

Apple is rapidly expanding its retail presence across the world, and it has been a year since Apple confirmed its bringing the Apple Store experience to Rio De Janerio, but now we have a tentative opening date thanks to 9to5Mac. According to a confidential source, Apple plans on launching its first retail store in the city between February and March 2014, with plenty of time to spare for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, which is scheduled to take place during the months of June and July.

Apple has a history of opening flagship stores prior to major events, so the February to March date would definitely not be a bad shout, although things could still go wrong — with the store opening reportedly already delayed from its original July 2013 opening date.
