Techradar has today reported that the OnePlus 2 will be releasing in the UK “Q3 2015”, with Chinese media sources saying that it will arrive at the start of the quarter in July.
After it’s surprise debut on a competition poster this Friday, many were wondering when the device would see the light of day. OnePlus referred to the device in the image as a “a real OnePlus 2 engineer test unit”, meaning that it should be reasonably close to the final product.
The rumour also suggests the price will be 1999 Chinese Yuan which converts roughly to around £207. Obviously, the UK will price will no doubt be significantly higher than that but we would still expect it to easily undercut similarly specced devices.
OnePlus are expected to hold a dedicated media event to launch the phone, so we’ll let you know as soon as the news goes live.
