So, the Facebook massive didn’t manage to derail the X Factor’s Christmas chart train this time.
But remember, the charts aren’t just for Christmas: the UK’s Official Charts Company has released an app that will run year-round.
It lets you access all the UK charts, with 30-second preview clips and iTunes buy links. You can discover other tracks from your favourite artists, and share details of hits on Facebook. It’s got a great retro feel, designed like a record-shop rack. An essential download for chart-watchers.
