ZUK announced the Z1 back in August and it is a debut from the Chinese company who are now launching the device for Europe through Amazon.

ZUK are backed by tech giants and fellow compatriots Lenovo, who also helped established ZUK but have stated “the company is an independent brand different from Lenovo’s previous subsidiary brands.”

The ZUK Z1 has some impressive specs for a debut phone and for the price. A continuing trend we are seeing from new Chinese tech companies. The Z1 is stirring interest because of the massive 4100 mAh battery, which will definitely last you more than an age and is bigger than Lenovo’s own P70. Fast charging is also featured with a USB Type-C connector.

The Z1 will pack a Snapdragon 801 2.5GHz processor, running with 3GB of ram. On the face of it, the Z1 will have a 5.5 inch display, with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. Resulting in 401 ppi. The smartphone has 64GB of internal memory with no external microSD card slot. There is only a 64GB version unfortunate for those who desire a more storage for photos and apps.

Speaking of photos; the camera will sport 13 megapixels while the secondary camera isn’t too far behind with an incredible 8 megapixels.

The Zuk Z1 is available now on Amazon for £299.99.
