After a potential Xiaomi Redmi 3 successor showed up on Chinese certification website TENAA just a few days ago, the same device has now shown up again in a couple of fresh variants.
Two additional 32GB variants have appeared on the site, named model 2016036 and 2016033. Both are identical in specs aside from a couple of subtle changes. They each feature 32GB of storage which is more than the 16GB shown in the previous leak, model number 2016035. They also come with lesser 720p displays as opposed to the 1080p panel found in the earlier leaked model. All will come with microSD expandability up to 128GB.
The new Xiaomi Redmi is expected to include a 5.5-inch screen, 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera, plus a very large 4,000mAh battery. There’s also rumours of a dual-camera setup, of which the implementation is still unknown.
It will come in three colour variants: Grey, Silver and Gold, with a price that is expected to be even cheaper than the existing Redmi 3. Since that is already a bargain device at just 699 Yuan (£73.68), this one could be something very special indeed.
