WhatsApp for Windows Phone gives you the middle finger

WhatsApp for Windows Phone received a small update adding a couple of new features and one big, statement-making gesture.

WhatsApp has just been updated for Windows Phone, revealing a host of new features carried over from the BETA. Perhaps most notably, users of the app can now take advantage of a ‘middle finger’ emoji, which should be useful for er… Sticking it to your friends. There’s also a new quick notification sound and search enhancements for finding messages faster.

All of these features were of course previously available in the BETA, though they have now being carried across into the final version. This includes the improved optimisation for Windows 10 Mobile, fixing the weird emoticon display issues and sporadic performance.

Head over to the Microsoft Store now to grab the update or hit the ‘check updates’ button on your Windows Phone device.
