The upcoming OnePlus X just got more official, with the device passing certification in China.
Fresh renders of the OnePlus X have shown up online after the device passed certification through Chinese Authority TENAA. The images look a little different to previous leaks, with a different design aesthetic and no dual rear cameras. The original OnePlus X renders bear more resemblance to a flagship device whereas these newer pics definitely scream ‘mid-range’. It looks to be encased in either a plastic or glass finish, with a thin metal strip running around the sides.
Specifications for the OnePlus X were originally expected to be high-end, though newer leaks suggest that it will be a mid-range device. It’s thought to ship in two versions, each with differing chipsets. One will include a Snapdragon 801, while the other will have a MediaTek CPU. Unfortunately, the 801 version is currently only expected to be available in China.
