Vodafone-branded 4G smartphone shows up in the US, destined for the UK

Vodafone already has a shed load of Smart-branded devices, and it seems to be working on yet another, but this time it’s one capable of connecting to a 4G network.

The 4G handset looks to be a Coolpad 8860U, although it will likely carry the Smart brand, giving UK users a cheap way to get a 4G handset.

The device is currently known as the Vodafone Smart 4G, although this may change when it arrives in the UK. It’s now gone and received FCC approval for use in the US, so we shouldn’t have to wait long for it to arrive.
