Infinity Blade III has released on the iOS app store. Epic Games’ sword-battling conclusion to the trilogy was announced last week during the course of Apple’s press event to reveal iOS7, iPhone 5C and the iPhone 5S. As we reported last week, it comes with a host of improvements like new fighting styles and playable characters, but will most notably take full advantage of the 5S’s A7 64-bit processor. That allows for incredible graphical fidelity and smooth running.

Hopefully it will set the standard for new iPhone games as they fast approach the kind of performance we expect of the current generation of consoles.

Infinity Blade III will run on both iPhone and iPad and set you back £4.99. Though launching on the same day, it beats iOS7 to release, which we’re all eagerly anticipating the launch of later on. Want to know how to install the new OS when it launches? Head here.
