Twitter updates on Android, allows for image cropping, rotating

A small update for Twitter has hit Android.

No, fear not, there’s not another UI overhaul in store. Instead this patch simply adds the ability to crop and rotate any photos that you tweet in-app.

Similar to Facebook’s photo-tagging, the app will also push reminders to mention any friends that might feature in an image you post. Finally, recommended tweets will now be posted when you refresh your feed without any new posts.

While these updates are available on Android now, they have been promised for iOS in the near future.
