Tomb Raider hits iOS in all of its original PS1 glory

Tomb Raider has come to iOS. Not, not the snazzy new Tomb Raider that hit earlier this year but the original PSOne classic that launched all the way back in 1996. The one with the, uh, rather suspiciously proportioned Lara Croft.

It’s available on devices running iOS 7.0 or later and costs just £0.69/$0.99. Pretty amazing to think that it was a full £40 back in the day, huh?

The original game spawned countless sequels before being rebooted as a survival tale. We’ve got to admit that as classic as this adventure is, it’s pretty hard to control even on a PlayStation controller these days. How it will fare on a touchscreen is anyone’s guess.
