Real Racing 3 brings live multiplayer to iOS, Android

There are plenty of racing games out there on both the iOS and Android app stores, but EA’s free to play Real Racing 3 has always been a stand out for many people. Now an update for the game is adding real time multiplayer.

Previously the game had let you download ghost versions of other friends laps to race against. Now up to four people can go head to head in real time for true bragging rights. The updated app also has a few new cars added into the mix, though you’ll have to fork over a bit of cash to pick them up.

There aren’t many smartphone titles that offer real time multiplayer, so Real Racing 3 is one of the few places to try it out.
