As the Apple Watch continues to flourish in sales, selling more in one day than Android Wear sold all year, we look to the inevitable snowstorm of accessories that are starting to release in its wake.
The newest edition to said snowstorm is the CandyShell Fit, a protective case aimed at keeping your new Apple Watch shiny and pristine.
At $30, it’s fairly cheap and offers a good amount of protection from knocks, bumps and general wear. Combining a hard polycarbonate shell with a TPU interior to absorb shock, it also has a slightly raised bezel which sits 1.5mm above the screen to act as a bumper. The cover is sweat resistant, chemical resistant and can also survive extreme heat.
The CandyShell Fit is due to ship in late May, with a variety of colours available. Speck has said that the CandyShell Fit will be available for both sizes (38mm and 42mm) and all three watch variants. While the company isn’t taking any preorders, if you are especially excited for this protective cover you can sign-up to be notified when it officially becomes available for sale.
