If you’ve always wanted a Galaxy S4 but were worried that it couldn’t take the abuse your phones usually take, then good news, as its tough sibling, the Galaxy S4 Active, goes on sale in the UK today.
The phone is waterproof and dustproof, so you can throw pretty much anything at it and it will come out on top.
Carphone Warehouse is currently offering the phone SIM-free for £530, although if you’re looking for a sizeable discount then Unlocked Mobiles will have you covered, with a price tag of just £495.
If you like to get tied down to your phone with a contract, then you can also head on down to Carphone Warehouse but you’ll have to choose between Talk Mobile or Vodafone — as other networks are not currently available.
Contract pricing currently starts at £33 per month for a free handset, but paying just £49 upfront could cut that cost to just £25 per month.
EE is set to join Vodafone in offering the S4 Active, but availability has yet to be announced — we’ve reached out to EE though, and will update the story when we hear back.
