Following the success of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone, the high-end handset is soon set to receive an update to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system if current rumours are to be believed.
According to Samsung fan site Sam Mobile, the Jelly Bean OS has passed the testing stage and is being prepped for public release, with Galaxy S III handsets scheduled to receive updates within the next month or so.
With the Galaxy S III already running well on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it’ll be great to see how the new features and Project Butter tweaks of Jelly Bean add to the Galaxy S III’s user experience.
