According to Three, Samsung will soon be launching the Galaxy Pocket, an entry-level Android smartphone that will sit alongside its affordable Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and Tocco Lite 2 smart- and feature-phones.
Following the launch of the stunning Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung hasn’t been resting on its laurels and has been releasing an increasing range of entry-level handsets over the past few months.
While pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Pocket has yet to be announced, its Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, 2.8-inch touchscreen and 2MP camera mean it is sure to be another competitively-priced smartphone for consumers.
With an unconfirmed launch date of September 2012, it shouldn’t be long until we can find out if the Galaxy Pocket will fare better than the disappointing Tocco Lite 2. And we’ll have a full review as soon as possible.
