In a world where tablets are getting smaller and phones are getting bigger, you will be forgiven for not expecting Samsung to release a larger than 10-inch tablet, but according to a recent report by a South Korea’s ETNews, Samsung could be about to add 2.1 inches to its Galaxy Note tablets.
According to the report, the screen will sport the same ultra high resolution display featured on the Nexus 10, with a resolution of 2560×1600.It is expected that the high-res screen will be produced by Sharp whose display tech should help make the device thinner, whilst also utilising little battery life.
Sources claim that the Galaxy Note 12 is due to hit markets in Q3, and is Samsung’s attempt to beat Apple to the punch — but we can’t see Apple going bigger than 10-inch anytime soon.
