Blackberry Q5 gets extortionate preorder price

I’m not sure if Blackberry has forgotten what the entry level market is actually like, but according to unlock-mobiles.com’s pricing of the Q5, they definitely haven’t quite grasped the concept here.

Whilst this is a sim-free preorder price, so you can expect it to be at a premium, at £349.98 it blasts all other budget devices out of the water.

In fact, you could pick up three Lumia 520s for the same price as the Q5. Then again, it depends how much you value a hardware QWERTY, and with the Q10 costing a full £200 more — the Q5 seems like a bargain.

The device is set to go on sale on July 15, so best start saving those pennies now.
