Well, Google may have stolen its spotlight (most likely on purpose), but we’re here to remind you: the iPad Air is on sale today.
Apple’s latest tablet was announced last week, but is reaching more than 40 countries at launch, including its first ever release in China. The new device boasts improved performance while cutting down on its size even more. It’s now just 7.5 mm thin and boasts the new A7 chip that was seen in the iPhone 5s. Here in the UK the price starts at £399 for the 16GB Wi-Fi only model, but is also available in 32, 64 and 128GB versions for £479, £559, and £639 respectively. Cellular editions are available at £100 more the asking price of each version, all of which can be seen/bought from the online Apple store.
As you can imagine, thousands have already flocked to Apple Stores to get some Air. As for Apple’s other tablet, the new iPad Mini, we’re still waiting on a specific date, though Apple has assured us that it will be here later in November. The iPad Air replaces the third and fourth generation devices, though the iPad 2 is still available to buy.
