You may have gone and bought a new phone recently, so in all likelihood you’re not planning on going out and buying a Nexus 5 as well. Or you may have already ordered a Nexus 5 but you’re just too impatient to wait for it to arrive on your doorstep. Either way, there’s no denying that Google has included a wicked cool launcher on the Nexus 5, and you don’t actually have to own a Nexus 5 to get access to it.
Thanks to the Android community you can now install the Nexus 5 experience on just about any smartphone. You’ll not only be getting that wicked cool launcher dubbed Google Home, but you’ll also be getting the apps, the redesigned Google Search and all the apps you need to have a pure Nexus experience.
We do have one word of warning if you’re planning installing all these goodies though, as there’s no telling what effect they could have on your existing device, be it a Samsung Galaxy S4 or a HTC One — after all these were all ripped directly off the Nexus 5, of which they were designed for.
