Everybody loves gold, money talks, money is power. If you’re the type of person who nodded frantically during all those statements, then this may be of interest to you. Apple’s new ‘iPhone 6s’ could be arriving in a luxury gold finish, according to a KGI Securities analyst.
Ming-Chi Kuo issued a new research note on tuesday that revealed a number of changes for Apple’s expected “iPhone 6s”, including a new ‘Rose Gold’ option. Previous Apple Watches have only being produced with an imitation gold finish and Kuo did not mention whether this would be a true 18-karat option similar to the Apple Watch. If that does turn out to be the case, it will likely be catered to the unaffordable ranks of the elite, as the gold Apple Watch retails with an insane market price of $10,000. This new colour option will bring Apples colour choices up to four, along with standard gold, space grey and silver.
Along with a rumoured new colour option, the iPhone 6s could also include additional changes such as an extra microphone to boost call quality, a higher quality 12 megapixel camera and ‘Force Touch’, which debuted on the Apple Watch as well as the new Macbook. Force Touch could prove to be a very lucrative addition, as it would open up the doors for developers to do some very creative things concerning pressure sensitivity.
