The PlayStation Plus January freebies and been revealed, and there’s plenty to enjoy for PlayStation fans.
First up on PS4 is Don’t Starve, a surreal survival experience from Klei Entertainment. You might remember them for Shank or Mark of the Ninja, but Don’t Starve is widely loved by fans and critics on PC.
Next up is PS3, when you’re be treated to Ninja Theory’s dmc: Devil May Cry and Gearbox’s Borderlands 2. The first is an action reboot that first released last January, while Borderlands is an addictive co-op shooter RPG that’s all about collecting loot. Not a bad haul.
Last but certainly not least we have the Vita, where you’ll find Soul Sacrifice and the wonderfully-named Blazblue Continuum Shift Extend. The former is an wonderful Monster Hunter-esque co-op RPG, while the later is a gorgeous 2D fighter for hardcore fans.
So that’s PlayStation Plus January – a pretty excellent line-up yet again for the service. Our recommendation? Soul Sacrifice is an underrated gem and this writer’s favourite game of 2013. You owe it to yourself to try it out.
