A Chinese regulator has released images of the OnePlus 2 ahead of its imminent launch, which show the fingerprint reader, camera sensor and more.

Here it is, the OnePlus 2! It looks kind of… er, exactly the OnePlus One. We knew it was coming, but perhaps not this early … While July 27th is still the official launch date of the device, it seems that images of the OnePlus 2 have finally been fully outed thanks to Chinese Wireless Regulator TENAA. The device underwent certification and can be seen in a blueprint photo, showcasing its sleek, slimline design. Also notice the physical home button, which will likely incorporate a fingerprint sensor ‘faster than the iPhone 6’.

Combine this with the already released specifications of the device and we pretty much know everything there is about the OnePlus 2. Here’s a handy bulletpoint breakdown of what we know it will contain:

Confirmed

  • Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core CPU
  • 4GB RAM
  • USB-C reversible connector
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Guaranteed to be under $450

Unconfirmed

  • 13 megapixel camera
  • Dual Sim slots
  • Metal unibody

With all of this information readily available, you have to wonder what surprises OnePlus has in-store at the upcoming press event.
