OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 2 will be available without the need for an invite.
In a forum post, a OnePlus representative confirmed the ever-popular OnePlus 2 will be available for purchase in a one hour window on October 12th. OnePlus has taken time zones in consideration, and will be opening the window of opportunity at 12pm – 1pm for Asia, Europe and North America.
- Asia: 12:00-1:00 pm HKT
- Europe: 12:00-1:00 pm CEST
- North America: 12:00-1:00 pm PDT, 3:00-4:00 pm ET
The time slots are region-locked, meaning that you will not be able to purchase again during the window in another country besides your own. Indian buyers can buy the handset on Amazon India at the allotted time, whereas for the rest of the world will have to order through the official site.
There is a limit of two phones per order but there seems to be no limit to placing multiple orders, hence no limit to how many phones you can buy. depending on availability.
