OnePlus 2 users have been venting their frustrations over fingerprint scanner issues, on the official OnePlus forum.
This isn’t the first time OnePlus has had manufacturing issues, as some users have complained over having a yellow screen, due to glue not drying properly. Now it seems another hardware issue is plaguing users as forum posters are claiming that their biometrics aren’t being read. Users are confused and disappointed as theories are thrown around about the surprise fault, a wet finger seems to be the popular damage dealer.
OnePlus have recently released an update to address the issue but sadly was met with limited success. Fingers are now pointing to a hardware issue due to the lack of success from the update.
OnePlus are still a young company, having only been established 22 months ago. Users who are experiencing issues should contact OnePlus immediately.
