It looks like October 22nd is going to be a news-filled day. Along with the rumoured Apple iPad 5 reveal and the release of the Microsoft Surface 2, Nokia World is set to take place. Is Nokia hinting at what it will reveal on that day with this latest day?
Below is an advert informing us that we can watch Nokia World on any screen. It seems innocent enough at first, but could the inclusion of a tablet, laptop and even a new smartphone (or possibly a phablet) be hinting at some of the reveals?
Rumours certainly fit the bill. We’ve heard plenty about the alleged Lumia 1520 phablet that could be revealed, and there’s a lot of talk on a Lumia 2520 Windows tablet. The laptop is something new, but it’s been a long time since Nokia made such a device. It was 2009 when we last saw one of those, so many it’s due a refresh.
Either that, or there’s no Nokia hinting going on and this is simple just an advert to watch the press conference. Still, it would be kind of cool, wouldn’t it? All eyes will be on the company on October 22nd.
