Nexus 7 gets price drop in US

The favourite holiday of every tech geek is almost upon us, no not Thanksgiving, nor Christmas – but Black Friday. If you’re unsure of what Black Friday is, then it’s essentially where you can go down to your local Best Buy and pick up a TV for just a few dollars (okay it’s a little more than that, but it’s still insanely cheap).

The holiday is an American tradition and causes huge queues outside of all sorts of electronics retailers, as well as lightning deals on Amazon. It’s spreading to other parts of the globe, but for now the best deals are to be found in the US. Today’s deal comes courtesy of Staples, who is offering the Nexus 7 for just a little bit less than the likes of Google or other retailers.

If you want to net yourself a brand new Nexus 7, the one that launched this year, not the older one, then head on over to Staples where you can get $50 off a 16GB version, so the base price starts at $179 rather than $229, or a 32GB version for $219.

To get this huge saving you’ll need to enter the coupon code 18702 in the check out, and you best be quick as it’s likely to sell out incredibly quickly!
