Motorola is likely to launch the Motorola Moto X, the successor to the second-generation Moto X. later this year.
Rick Osterloh, Motorola’s president, revealed on Twitter that the company, which is owned by Lenovo, was going to “stay on a roughly annual cycle for all of our products, including the Moto X.”
This suggests that the third-generation Motorola Moto X will launch in August or September, roughly around the same time the current-generation Moto X was released last year.
Details about the third-generation Moto X remain scarce, but it’s likely to be an excellent phone if it improves on the current-gen Moto X.
