Minecraft, the indie sensation from the team at Mojang, has finally hit the PS3.
The build ’em up arrives with this week’s PlayStation Store update, which should hit this afternoon. However, some are claiming that they can find it on the Store already by simply searching for it. It’s priced at £12.99. You might want to hold fire on picking it up, as Mojang is yet to confirm cross-buy support for the game. That means if you’re hoping to get the game on Vita or PS4, where it’s also planned for release, you might have to pay for the other version too.
Minecraft started life on the PC but has also found huge success on the Xbox 360 over the past few years, with an Xbox One version also coming. Yesterday, we heard that the Pocket Edition of the game had topped both the iPhone and iPad charts for 2013. Don’t expect its popularity to die down any time soon.
