When Uncharted for PS4 was revealed back at the console’s North American launch last month, many had hoped it would be hitting later in 2014. Sadly, it’s looking increasingly less likely that that will be the case.
The EU PlayStation Blog recently opened its polls for the Game of the Year awards 2013. At the bottom of the post is a poll asking after everyone’s most anticipated game of 2014. Naturally, most PlayStation fans would have flocked to vote for Nathan Drake’s next adventure, but it’s nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile, other games without confirmed release dates such as The Order: 1886, are listed.
Does this lend evidence to the theory that Uncharted PS4 won’t reach us until 2015? If the PlayStation Blog isn’t listing it, it doesn’t bode well for a release. Earlier this month the game missed a reveal at Spike’s VGX awards – a ceremony that Uncharted 2, 3 and Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us all had full reveals at past shows.
Let’s hope that we’ll be getting a first look at the game at the very least in the near future.
