Microsoft Surface Book and XBox One S bundle offers savings of up to £395 on the Microsoft Store, making the latter practically free.

Windows Central has reported that people who signed up for the Windows Insider preview – where you get to test early preview builds of Microsoft software – are getting emails teasing a possible Microsoft Surface Book and Xbox One S bundle. The website was sent a message by an anonymous reader named “mryosh” which seems to detail some juicy offers on the premium laplet.

Microsoft Surface Book and XBox One S bundle offers some decent savings

The offer seems exclusive to Windows Insiders in the UK but states that you can get the Surface Book with an Intel core i5, 8GB of RAM and 128GB SSD storage for £1,318.99, saving £230. This almost cancels out the cost of the Xbox One S, making it quite lucrative deal.  The email also details more expensive offers where you can the faster Intel Core i7 model, with total saving racking up to £395.  Each bundle gives you a Surface Book, the Xbox One S console and a copy of FIFA 17.

Obviously, buying direct from the Microsoft Store represents one of the most expensive ways to get your hands on the Surface Book. However, when this offer is taken into consideration, it still works out cheaper than the majority of other online retailers.
