After a bunch of Meizu Pro 7 images leaked just days ago, we’ve now got another bunch of them here which show even more detail.

In case you missed it, the last pictures showed that the device would have a curved panel similar to the Samsung Galaxy edge series. These new images re-confirm this and also show a flush fingerprint sensor on the bottom. Looking at the design, it looks quite a bit similar to the HTC 10 from the front… which is no bad thing.

Meizu Pro 7 images show a curved screen… but what about hardware?

Hardware specifications are still unknown but it’s been confirmed by the Meizu VP that they won’t be using Qualcomm chips much in the future, so expect a Samsung or MediaTek version. The latter was used in the Pro 6, so it’s likely that they could continue the partnership with MediaTek. Meizu is apparently looking at chipsets which offer full Netcom compatibility but Samsung’s current Exynos 8890 does not offer the functionality, adding further fuel to the fact they may be opting once again for MediaTek.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is holding an event on September 3rd where they will likely unveil the device.
