Prior to the release of Microsoft’s new handsets a price cut had been enforced in the UK and now in France
Microsoft first announced the Lumia 950 and 950 XL with the price of £500 (¬599) and £550 (¬699) respectively. The new pricing for the UK and Europe is now £450 (¬562) for the Lumia 950 and £530 (¬649) for the 950 XL.
Both devices were announced in early October at Microsoft’s press conference, surprising the tech industry with two new liquid cooling phones with the ability to run like a PC with Continuum.
Microsoft have the device to be a dominant player this time around, but they are still lacking the apps. With a price cut Microsoft could potentially gain more customers and hopefully gain the trust of more app developers.
