The LG G5 is finally ready to be released after being announced last month at Mobile World Congress.

But the bad news is the UK is yet to receive a release date, with South Korea the first to see the device, being released April 31st. The US will follow on April 1st. As for the rest of the world including the UK, there are no clear indications of when we will see it, LG refused to confirm a date.

The LG G5 will be carrying high end specs and a comfortable 5.3-inch 2k display. Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, the Snapdragon 820 will be powering the G5, complimented with 4GB of RAM. A 16 megapixel snapper is there with 8 megapixel on the front-facing. Straight out of the box the G5 will run Android Marshmallow 6.

What we’re looking forward to playing with is the “LG Friends” ecosystem, which played a big part in LG winning ‘best mobile device’ at Mobile World Congress. LG aren’t afraid to try out something new, this innovation is a sink or swim idea for the Korean manufacturer.

LG’s “friends” include: CAM Plus, Bang & Olufsen Hi-Fi Plus, 360 VR Camera, 360 Cam and Rolling Robot.
