KitKat coming to HTC One in January

Android 4.4 has been revealed for about half a week now, and companies are starting to reveal their support for the latest OS. HTC customers have a little bit of a wait ahead of them, with KitKat coming to the HTC One in January.

Those with the Google edition of the phone will get it sooner, which, as CNET reports, will be here at the end of November. These reports are in line with the 90-day timeline we were given by HTC the other day.

KitKat coming to the One means a few unique additions, resulting in the delay. HTC will be testing its built-in apps and the like on the new OS before release it to the masses, so fans will have to sit tight until now.
