The new iPad Pro is bigger and more powerful than any of its predecessors.
Apple’s new iPad flagship is highly impressive compared to previous models, and boasts a split-screen mode to allow you to work on two apps simultaneously.
Specs
The new specs aren’t too shabby either. With a 12.9 inch screen, and a high-resolution 5.6 million pixels, the picture is huge and clear. A variable refresh rate allows it to allocate power and resources more smoothly, and it claims to have faster processor than 80% of portable PCs sold in the last year. It has a 10-hour battery life, is only 6.9mm thick, and weighs 712 grams.
Smart Keyboard
The iPad Pro has a full software keyboard, but if that isn’t enough, Apple has also developed a ‘smart keyboard’. It connects via a brand new connection that works on battery-like contact-to-contact points. Unlike batteries, it connects magnetically,. and transmits data as well as power.
Apple Pencil
Apple has also brought out a drawing stylus called the Apple Pencil. It senses position, force, and tilt to let you draw thick or thin lines, and it allows you to annotate documents and attachments. The pencil recharges via lightning connection to iPad..
The software is also fully compatible with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
The iPad Pro will come in silver, gold, and space grey. It will be available in November, and prices start at $799.
