The 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors now has an official Japanese release date, thanks to one keen-eyed fan.
A sign spotted at the Tokyo gameshow has revealed that hack n’ slasher Hyrule Warriors will be launching in Japan on the 21st January next year. The 3DS version of the popular Wii U title will ship with an additional two characters: The King of Hyrule and The King of Red Lions. Both of these can also be transferred to the Wii U version at launch.
Hyrule Warriors launches exclusively for the newer 3DS systems, with older versions unable to play the title due to hardware limitations. Currently, there’s no word on a UK release date or any other country besides Japan. However, due to the popularity of the title on the Wii U console, it’s expected that it will arrive over here eventually.
