Huawei’s dual-camera wonder phone is finally available in the UK, here are the best offers to snap up the new Huawei P9.
The P9 impressed us a lot here at What Mobile. Huawei has really changed things up and has turned their new flagship into an unintentional flagship killer. A premium design compliments the Leica co-engineered dual-camera. Don’t believe us? Check out our extensive review on the P9.
There’s also the Huawei P9 Plus but that’s available later in the year and not all retailers will be stocking. So far Vodafone and O2 have been confirmed to be stocking the P9 Plus from mid May in Quartz Grey.
You can pick it up almost everywhere but who has the best deal for you? Don’t worry your cotton socks. We’ve got the answers right here (prices are subject to change).
Huawei are selling the P9 directly through their own website for £449 SIM free. Huawei’s e-commerce website is confusingly called vMall so don’t worry you haven’t been redirected by a virus.
Carphone Warehouse are offering the Huawei P9 from £27 a month on a monthly contract. Buying the Huawei P9 SIM free is also an option for £449.99. Contracts are available from a plethora of networks; Vodafone, O2, EE and iD.
Colours available: Mystic Silver and Titanium Grey.
Contracts start at £30.99 with no upfront costs but it only comes with 1GB of data. If you want plenty of data but don’t want to pay any upfront costs there’s a monthly bundle for £45.99 a month with unlimited text/minutes and 10GB of data.

The lowest contract you can go for with O2 is £29.99 a month with a £9.99 upfront charge. For no upfront costs it’ll be £33.00 a month with unlimited texts/minutes and 1GB of data. O2 has a decent high-end contract with 30GB of data for £50 a month with no upfront costs. A good balance between money and data.
Alternatively pay-as-you-go £369.99 with a £10 top up.

Three are the only network offering the Huawei P9 on contract with unlimited data, all-you-can-eat data is something we all love Three for. For all-you-can-eat data it’ll set you back £48 a month with £29 upfront.
Unfortunately all of the contracts are tacked on with an upfront cost.

Vodafone will be stocking the Huawei P9 Plus later soon for you phablet lovers.
If you can’t wait for the extra screen real estate you can grab the Huawei P9 for £10 upfront and £28 each month giving unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 1GB of data.

If for some reason you’ve sworn to never talk to a customer service line ever again, the customer focused giffgaff are also offering the Huawei P9. Pay as you go will set you back £369 or you can go for the contracts that start at £32.06. In return you get 4GB of data, 1000 minutes and unlimited texts. Although there’s an upfront cost of £25.
