It’s official, the HTC One will be receiving the Android 4.3 update — and it’s sooner rather than later.
According to HTC’s President of Global Sales, James Mackenzie, HTC is working on upgraded firmware as we speak, with Android 4.3 to arrive by the end of September.
Unfortunately for those in the UK or elsewhere in the world, Mackenzie has only confirmed that the update will arrive on HTC One’s bought in the US or Canada — although it’s unlikely we’re going to be left waiting too much longer.
The HTC One isn’t the only phone to be getting a bit of Android 4.3 good news, with the HTC Droid DNA also receiving the update in September.
Given that Android 4.3 is just a month old, a two month turnaround for an Android is pretty impressive — good job HTC.
