Google working on Moto G

Google continues to throw money at Motorola in a hope that one day it’ll be successful. After the rather muted launch of the Moto X, with it not reaching any shores outside of the US, Google could be working on its next big project for Motorola, with the device rumoured to be called Moto G.

Whilst not much is known about the Moto G, the revelation comes from Motorola’s own website, where it seems one unlucky IT admin accidentally posted the link on the main menu, right next to the Moto X. When you clicked on the link though, it didn’t go anywhere with it linking to a completely dead page.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the Moto G name, with the name cropping up in a trademark filing earlier this month, and it’s likely that it’s Motorola’s efforts to offer a cheaper alternative to the rather expensive Moto X.

Google has been on a roll recently when it comes to mistakes, revealing the Nexus 5 and Nexus 10 on the Play Store, and now ‘accidentally’ posting the Moto G.
