According to the Wall Street Journal; Samsung’s Galaxy S7 will feature pressure sensitive screen technology, similar to 3D Touch seen on the iPhone 6s.
Unsurprisingly the popular edge screen will make a return, a source disclosed that the non-Edge version will offer expandable storage unlike the edged variants. WSJ reported the design will not stray from the S6 look, nor will there be a “bump” in the back to accommodate beefier specs.
Camera improvements will be made, USB-C will also make an appearance to bring fast charging to the popular line. Truly eye-popping is the possible inclusion of a retina scanner. Samsung were rumoured to put a retina scanner in the S5 before it’s release.
The S7 is expected to be released sometime in March after an announcement at Mobile World Congress in February.
