If you own a Samsung Galaxy S3, then you may want to get ready to receive your Android 4.3 update, with Sammobile reporting that its already hitting some Galaxy S3 users as we speak.

If you’re a Galaxy S3 user yourself, you’ve probably been desperate for the latest Android update, with Samsung deciding to skip the Android 4.2 update, meaning you’ve had to look on in envy whilst other Android users enjoyed the latest operating system flavour, whilst you run a version already two years old.

Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed what will be updated with Android 4.3, but according to Sammobile, you’re in for a treat with loads of new features such as:

GALAXY GEAR Support

– TRIM Support (Makes the device much faster)

– ANT+ Support

– Core UI elements updated to the ones on the Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S4€²s theme all over)

– New Samsung Keyboard

– GPU drivers have been updated (Higher GPU benchmark scores)

– New Lockscreen: Multiple Widgets, improved ripple effect than Android 4.1.2, ability to change clock size and set a personal message

– New Screen modes (From S4): Adapt Display and Professional Photo

– Daydream

– Driving mode

– Actionable notifications

– Move-to-SD-card feature

– New Camera mode : Sound and Shot

– New Additions in Notification Centre

– Completely revamped Settings UI (Tabbed interface ‘ Exactly like the Galaxy S4)

– Implementation of Voice controls (Let’s you control various parts of the phone using voice commands ‘ Galaxy S4 feature)

– New Samsung Apps: Calculator, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, Music

– Full screen Samsung apps

– New S-Voice (from Galaxy S4)

As with all updates, it may not be available for your particular model of Galaxy S3, with the international 3G version of the phone (GT-i9300) the only one currently receiving the Android 4.3 update. It also seems like it’s currrently limited to Vodafone Ireland, with other carriers likely to be still testing the update.
